A Chaos Orb is a currency item that can be used to re-roll the random modifiers on a piece of rare equipment. It is one of the three orbs most commonly used as currency to exchange items between players, the other two being Exalted Orbs and Mirror of Kalandra, both of much higher value.

Chaos orbs are the most widely used currency in the game and the majority of trades are made with them. Not everyone knows, but there is a chaos orb recipe that allows you to obtain seed capital, for this you will need to sell every type of armor, jewelry and two-handed weapons of a specific level to any NPC, and you will get either 1 or 2 orbs, it depends on whether your items were identified or not.
